Has anyone done any insert molding of thin metal films? I’m hoping to use a thin aluminum film as a diaphragm for a small plastic part (approximately 13mm in diameter). I was thinking if it were possible, could I insert mold a plastic ring onto an aluminum film and the ring could then be heat welded onto another plastic component.
