Researchers from Korea developed a technology that enables high-quality molding without prior drying. They use gas counter pressure (GCP) technology to suppress evaporation. Any comments?

how does this work with lens grade molding, does the added pressure add stress to the parts that can affect how ligth passes throught the material. Would you expect predried PC and PMMA molded under lower prsurres have improved optical quality.

I would be keen to learn whether the entrapped moisture, which is kept below boiling point by the pressure, would still lead to hydrolitic degradation of the polycarbonate, despite the clear (pun unintended) benefits of bubble-free appearance.
