Injection Molds and Molded Parts for Fittings and Connectors

Plastic molded parts for fittings and connectors require air-tight seals and structural integrity. Our advanced manufacturing equipment and reasonably designed processing technology can ensure the injection mold tolerances meet the specification, the part strength replies on the choice of materials. We specialize in engineering-grade resins, including POM (Acetal) for low friction, Nylon (PA66) for wear resistance, and glass-filled ABS to prevent deformation in high-pressure fittings. In additional to that, reasonable product structure design such as thickened wall thickness or rib features can significantly improve product strength, the products we have made  including multi-pin electronic connectors, push-to-connect fittings, and water pump housings, plug-in units, water pump units.

Why Choose ACO Mold Services

Optimized Gate Design for Connectors

We utilize hot-runner systems and balanced cavity layouts to reduce cycle times for small, complex connector housings, ensuring rapid delivery for high-volume orders.

±0.01mm Tolerance for Sealing Surfaces

We achieve micron-level precision on critical O-ring grooves and threaded interfaces to prevent leaks and ensure perfect mating with your assembly.

100% Dimensional Inspection

We perform full CMM inspection on critical snap-fit features to eliminate breakage during assembly, guaranteeing consistent performance for your end-users.

We provide detailed quotations within 24 hours, specifically analyzing your Connector & Fitting project requirements. Beyond just pricing, our engineers assess material compatibility (e.g., POM vs. Nylon), wall thickness uniformity, and gate locations to prevent sink marks on cosmetic surfaces, ensuring the quote reflects both your budget and technical feasibility.

Within 1-2 days, we deliver a comprehensive DFM report focusing on moldability for complex geometries. For connectors, we prioritize gate optimization to avoid affecting sealing surfaces and draft angle analysis for easy ejection of snap-fit features. The subsequent 3D mold design (completed in 2-3 days) includes a mold flow analysis to predict potential short shots in thin-walled sections.

Mold construction typically takes 3-5 weeks. Utilizing high-precision CNC machining centers and EDM, we ensure the mold cavity achieves mirror-like polishing (Ra<0.2µm) to prevent scratches on the final part. We provide weekly progress reports with photos, allowing you to monitor the machining of critical core and cavity inserts in real-time.

Upon completion, we conduct the first mold trial to validate functionality. For fittings, this includes checking interference fit and assembly torque. We will send you 5-10 free samples along with a preliminary dimensional inspection report to verify critical tolerances (e.g., O-ring groove dimensions) before mass production.

If the initial samples show defects like warpage (common in glass-filled nylon) or burrs, our technicians will optimize injection parameters and polish the mold. Usually, 1-2 modification rounds are required to fine-tune the mold until the aesthetics and function fully meet your standards.

Mass production commences after sample approval. We strictly adhere to the IQC (Incoming Quality Control) standards established during the trial phase. For colored connectors, we ensure batch-to-batch color consistency using spectrophotometer readings to match your Pantone codes. Lead time is determined by order volume and mold cavitation.

ACO Mold Shipping

Standard packing uses anti-static PE bags and sturdy cartons to prevent static damage to electronic connectors. For delicate parts, custom blister trays are used. We arrange door-to-door logistics via sea, air, or rail freight, providing you with all necessary customs clearance documents.

P02 2 S06 reorder.jpg

We securely store your molds in our climate-controlled warehouse. Before each reorder, we perform preventative maintenance (cleaning, rust prevention, and component lubrication) to ensure the mold is immediately ready. This guarantees that replacement parts maintain the exact same dimensional stability as the original batch.

Customer Stories

“I have done business with ACO MOLD for almost 3 years now. They are a very professional company with high quality material. Tim who was the representative who has been assisting me for the last few purchases has been very helpful to ensure a smooth process. I would highly recommend ACO MOLD as a supplier for your needs. The POM connectors we ordered were delivered ahead of schedule. The tight tolerance ensured they snapped perfectly into our assembly without any rework.”

—— Rasmussen (Product Manager, F****d H****g Solutions)

“Finding a molder who understands the importance of leak-proof connections is challenging. ACO Mold’s expertise with POM materials ensured our water filter fittings had zero defects in pressure testing. Their DFM feedback on the thread design saved us from potential assembly issues down the line. We now consider them our long-term partner for all fluid handling components.”

—— David Chen (R&D Director, A****e Systems)
