Good day. Kindly quote me your best price for the fabrication of the mould as per attached. Meanwhile, if your company can provide the plastic injection moulding services, please quote me the unit price as well. resin material is ABS, the part will be orange color ,l would like to have my logo on the product, the demand quantity for the 1st round will be 1000 pieces as this is the new development product and we need to launch to market and see the market feedback, l would like to get some sample made according to my design as soon as possible prior to mold making so l have something to present for market promotion.
ACO MOLD Solution:
This project involves prototype samples, injection mold and injection molding, silk printing.
Samples prior to mold making can be done quickly by 3D printing, lead time 3-5 days.
We made a one cavity steel mold for this part,considering there are 4 sides of sliding mechanisms, gating method has to be one the top, cold runner, point gate( hot nozzle would do better but given the tight budget we use did 3 plate mold instead, it turns out not bad), for this mold/part, there are many parting lines on the part faces due to complex structure of the mold, so each piece of the mold components, sliders, core inserts, cavity inserts,and all other sub-inserts, must be fitted nicely, otherwise molded part come of the mold will have mismatch.
LOGO was made by silk print, this is a secondary process after injection molding process, silk printing can be customized accordingly and multiple color can be done but it is higher cost than single color.
The first batch 1K molding production takes 3 days, secondary process silk printing takes another 5 days.
