Your best bet for a "SMED cart" is to draw up the cart and have it fabricated. Most commercial sources sell flimsy thin gage carts. And the casters will be substandard. Draw up your cart with provisions for clamps, bolts, water line assembly equipment, QD fittings, etc and your required tools....and have a few local fab shops quote it. Suggestions: use 1/4" wall tubing at all 4 corners with 3/16" caster plates, top should also be 1/4", use a minimum of 4" casters in urethane. If you need some advice on SMED or quick change reduction targets contact me.

I agree with Ken, each shop is going to need different supplies on their carts, it is best to fab your own with a place for everything so everything can be in it's place. Don't overload the cart with stuff you hardly use, not the point of smed. Get a system going to make sure the cart is always stocked and ready to roll because that is the point of smed.

Sounds like more definition of what exactly you are looking for is needed. Some responses are for a SMED supply cart and others are for a SMED mold handling system.
